Iris Nobile by the Italian brand Acqua di Parma (makers of the famous Colonia and the Colonia Assoluta) is celebrating with a special edition, Iris Nobile Edizione Speciale 2013. I have long favorited this graceful floral eau de parfum with notes of white flowers, chypre accords and iris, going through my bottle with gusto, feeling like the pinnacle of elegance. So the new anniversary edition is good news for those of you who haven't tried it yet: the purple box is lovely to look at. Perfume Shrine is happy to be able to offer one Iris Nobile 2013 edition bottle to its readers, full, new and pristine (see below), for your delectation. Cool, isn't it?
Just take a look at this video clip on how the special edition bottles are created by Acqua di Parma.
Notes for Iris Nobile include ylang ylang, Florentine iris, patchouli, vanilla, oakmoss.
To enter the draw, please post a comment below saying what is your favorite iris fragrance and why you enjoy it (or if you don't like iris scents, why is that, you suppose?).
Draw is open internationally until Sunday 20th October midnight, winner will be announced sometime on Monday. Good luck!

I'm rather fond of the Prada Iris, all told, though I was sent a vial of an experiment in carrot that I also liked a great deal
ReplyDeleteI love iris and I love the Chanel treatment of iris in most of their fragrances. Chanel no. 19 is definitely my favorite iris. The iris in it works together very well with other notes to make the perfume both aloof and alluring.
ReplyDeleteI can't claim to have a favourite iris fragrance because I'm not sure which fragrance presents the note best, and that is a matter of individual taste as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm eager to learn more but there's such variation in the presentation, as I understand it, that I'm still at the bewildered stage where Iris is concerned!
Thanks for the draw opportunity, and for sharing your knowledge of perfume too.
Cheerio, Anna in Edinburgh
I love the Channel 19. It is perfect for me and quite classic too!
ReplyDeleteSince I have just begun my perfume education, I do not have an iris perfume yet. I did, however, get a sample of Ramon Monegal Impossible Iris, and have enjoyed wearing it. It seems a little cool somehow. Thanks for offering a chance to get to know iris with this draw for Iris Nobile. Being a bottle collector (perfume and otherwise), I love the Edizione Speciale 2013 one. If a similar post from me appears, I apologize. I tried to enter one earlier, but had difficulties. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOf late I've liked Aedes' Iris Nazarene
ReplyDeleteThe iris note was my first perfume love that initiated me into niche perfumery. I love Bois d'Iris - in its two forms, by TDS and VC&A. Very different and both quite lovely.
ReplyDeleteChanel always seems to do a lovely iris in its compositions. No.19 being the obviously choice, but I've always like Hermes Hiris. On a side note: I dream of trying Lanvin's Irise. Perhaps the Goddesses of Fragrance will smile upon me one day!
ReplyDeleteI really love the iris in Amouage Dia Man. Such a satisfying perfume, and so chic, I feel like a Nobel Prize winner!
ReplyDeleteThank you for another amazing giveaway, E! And thank you for keeping this great blog, one of my favorite virtual places.
I'm a newcomer to iris appreciation, and the fragrance that made me fall for this note is Hermes Hiris.
ReplyDeleteCount me among the lovers of Chanel No. 19! And thank you again for another wonderful drawing.
ReplyDeleteNot original, but Chanel 19 has been a part of my life since the late 70s. It's still my favorite iris. Thanks for the draw!
ReplyDeleteI have a capricious relationship with Iris scents: I own and love Bois d'Iris by Van Cleff and by The Different Company; I love the former more than the latter. I sometimes can only think of wearing them and feeling surrounded by that special aura of beauty. At other times, the very same aura seems cold and calculative, unreal, perhaps? So I got myself a weird one: Iris Oriental by Parfumerie Generale and this is, to me, a strange creature which I can only wear when I myself am feeling alienated because it encapsulates me in its bubble of tensions.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this draw. I'd love to try Iris Nobile and have a less dramatic relationship with an Iris scent.
I like Chanel no 19 since I was a kid, without knowing it's the iris in it until quite recently! Since then, I have been trying out other iris scents. My favourite is still Chanel no 19 and maybe Hermessence Paprika Brasil as well.
ReplyDeleteThe only iris perfume I know of and own is Iris Bleu Gris (MPeG) and I love it. It smells subtle and I cannot discern any notes particularly, just a well blended goodness. Sorry I don't know how to write about perfume.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this give away.
hi, thank you for the giveaway! My favourite irises are Hermes Iris Ukiyoe and SL Iris Silver Mist, and the Aqua di Parma Iris Nobile in EDT form. I still have not tried the EDP and would very much like to. :)
ReplyDeleteI am new to the world of fragrance. Therefore, I smelt only few iris fragrances. I like Chanel 19, Chanel 28 La Plasa, Prada Infusion d'Iris. They feel composed and well centered as a lady. I tried and liked Iris Nobile. It smells more like Iris flower. On a walk with my dog, I keep smelling iris flowers in the neighborhood. Pretty funny! I just should plant some!
ReplyDeleteOops! I forgot to say! Thank you for a wonderful giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy iris journey began with Chanel 18 and after trying 19 and some Prada, I found true love with Iris Silver Mist (Serge Lutens): not too powdery, perfect projection, good longevity, just the right amount of quirkiness but still sophosticated. Iris Nobile is actually on my shopping list. Thanks for this wonderful giveaway!
ReplyDeleteAnna (from Finland)
My vote goes to Frederic Malle : Iris Poudre
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of iris and would love to try
Iris Nobile EDP
Thank you for the giveaway
Aleka
Lovely giveaway Elena !
ReplyDeleteMy fave iris is probably Bel Respiro - lovely soft green iris.
Apres L'Ondee is my first and favorite. Thank you for the draw!
ReplyDeleteHi count me in! My favorite iris fragrance is found in Santa Maria Novella's Iris Talborina dusting powder, a treasured souvenir from my honeymoon. Iris is such a sentimental scent for me, always brings back lovely memories. Would love to try Iris Nobile.
ReplyDeleteI really like Prada Infusion d'Iris. I love it's freshness on summer days.
ReplyDeleteMentioning Iris, the first scent that comes to my mind is Après l'Ondée, but of course this is much more than only an iris fragrance. It's heart-warming, a bit melacholic and very beautiful. Thanks for the draw.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy Prada's scent and Chanel's Bel Respiro. There are a few more I look forward to trying. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love Chanel #19 Poudre and most of the iris in Chanel's fragrances. I like Iris Ganache. Apres L'Ondee is beautiful. Prada Infusion d'Iris is nice.Le Labo Iris 39 made my friends cat want to hump my neck! Thanks for the draw.
ReplyDeleteiadore iris scents---never met one that i didn't at least like, and some i love. i wear prada infusion d'iris to teach yoga, as it has a subtle sillage and a meditative quality to it that is eminently suitable for that. lutens' iris silver mist is lovely. and chanel no. 19, of course, thought that has a great deal more going on than iris. i think what appeals to me about iris scents is that peculiar, unmistakeable rooty smell---buttery, earthy; and the floral part has a scent that is lightly sweet and somehow reminds me of a certain candy from early childhood. i've always wanted to try the nobile! somebody nailed the bottle and packaging on that, by the way; really elegant and neither dated nor too self-consciously modern. please enter me in the drawing!
ReplyDeleteI like so many iris scents! But I suppose my most favourite is Chanel 31 Rue Cambon, because is different from the others I have - it's not gourmand, it's very refined and elegant. It's me :-)
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable! Iris is my fave note. I'm dying over Jo Malone Iris and White Musk, but did not get it yet. I also have been using Prada Iris for ages, my 750 ml bottle has just come to an end. Thanks for the terrific prize!
ReplyDeleteRadmila, rada76@Mail.ru
Goutal's Heure Exquiste is my favourite . When I wear it I can see myself walking around the Musee D'Orsay in Paris. That is when I wore it first .
ReplyDeleteIts a "must have" bottle in my collection !
I love, love, love iris but I havn' t had the chance to test iris nobile!
ReplyDeleteMy favorites change with the moments I am wearing them: Equistrius, Bois d'Iris CA and TDC, Prada, Iris de Nuit from Heeley - I love them all and I would be glad with the fantastic prize!
I haven't pursued iris as a note, although I do love the cool elegance of Chanel no 19. I have only 2 scents currently in which iris is significant: Apres l'Ondee and the Eau de Toilette of YSL Nu.
ReplyDeleteI would love to start my iris exploration with Iris Nobile!
Thanks for the draw opportunity, and thanks for the link to the video. I love to see artisans at work.
-- Lindaloo
Love iris scents! Started off with Chanel No. 19, current favs include Ramon Monegal Impossible Iris and VC&A Bois d'Iris. Would love to win the Iris Nobile!
ReplyDeletePlease include me in the draw too! I would love to win it for my mom who loves iris fragrances :-)
ReplyDeleteMy favourite 'iris fragrance' for the time being would have to be Arpege Pour Homme by Lanvin. I like it so much because, to me, the iris is well blended such that the fragrance is still masculine. In my opinion, a strong iris note can be hard to masculinize. Also, I like Arpege Pour Homme so much because the opening reminds me very much of when I was a little kid, and the smell of pouring out the last of the "Fruit Loops" box. The opening of Arpege reminds me of the sugary Fruit Loops dust.
My current favorite iris is Chanel no 19. It smells just like the thawing ground of early spring.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the give-away!
I love Pure Virgin (Pure Eve) from The Different Company!
ReplyDeleteHeure Esquise from Goutal - I simply SWOOON!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteIris & White Musk by Jo Malone. I first became a fan of Jo Malone years ago when I was looking for a perfume that also had beautiful packaging as I was purchasing a gift for a friend. Then I discovered Lemon Verbena and wore it every day until Jo Malone discontinued it.
ReplyDeleteLately I wear Acqua Di Parma Magnolia Nobile and I would love to expand my fragrance wardrobe with their Iris.
Thank you for a wonderful blog. I look forward to your posts.
I am obsessed with Iris. My favorite OJ Orris Noir and Chanel Cuir de Russie. They can be layered together too!
ReplyDeleteI am not familiar with very many iris perfumes but I like Silver Mist by Lutens. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteIris is one of my favorites, for sure. I'm not familiar with many, another Chanel No 19 fan here! I'm also enjoying Iris Ukiyoe lately.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the chance at this lovely!
Prada - Infusion d'iris has been my iris of choice - just enough to make a statement, but not overbearing. Frederic Malle's Iris Poudre smells really great on my good friend Marko...thanks for yet another opportunity drawing!
ReplyDeleteMy current favorite iris perfume would be Chanel 28 La Pausa. I've a sample of the Iris Nobile and it is amazing! Thanks for the draw.
ReplyDeleteI love Hermes Hiris, it is cool and elegant at any time and place. Thanks for the drawing!
ReplyDeleteOh how exciting!! The Acqua di Parma line has been on my wish list forever it seems...
ReplyDeleteThe only two prominent fragrances I know and wear are Apres l'ondee and Chanel No. 19.
Thank you for this drawing.
I like Chanel 19 and very much dislike the Prada Infusions d'Iris. I really can't tell you why. Thank you for this draw!
ReplyDeleteI have three favourite iris scents. Iris poudre of F. Malle because I like the velvet and powdery interpretation of this note, Iris Nazarena from Aedes de Venustas because it is very dry, but subtle with a masculine side ....but my favourite one, is Silver Iris Mist, it is metallic and soft, cold and very comfortable to wear it!
ReplyDeletePrada Infusion d'Iris is such a great perfume for those grey, rainy days that I almost don't mind winter in the Pacific NW.
ReplyDeleteI know it's what most people are saying but mine is Chanel 19 aswell, ITS AMAZING and one of my very first perfumes that I loved.
ReplyDeleteI truthfully cannot say that iris is a note that I deliberately look for specifically, but, three of my favorite perfumes do contain it...Shalimar, Chanel No. 5 and Lolita Lempicka. I've not come across any perfumes yet that are iris-specific, and certainly would be delighted to enjoy this offering!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite iris fragrance is Iris Pourpre by Keiko Mecheri.
ReplyDeleteThe floral notes in Iris Nobile sound gorgeous!
Chanel No 19 all the way, but Prada Candy has an unexpected and very beautiful iris note that balances the density of the caramel. Thanks for the draw.
ReplyDeleteI have several and most have been mentioned already. I'm currently in love with Iris Nazarene, but also have long loved Chanel 19. Thanks for the draw!
ReplyDelete^ sorry forgot my name! Devon Hernandez
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Iris scent is Prada Infusion d'Iris! I love the retro feel of Iris.
ReplyDeleteI'm torn between Imposssible Iris and Iris Silver Mist. Such beautiful scents!
ReplyDeleteI love the prada absolu, and #19 by Chanel!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the draw!
Another No.19 lover here with Iris Silver Mist as runner up. Thank you for the draw.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for he draw
ReplyDeleteThe bottle looks stunning !!!
My favourite iris is Pradas Infusion D'Iris Absolue
Have a wonderful weekend !
Totoro
I am a mad possessed iris lover. At the moment my favourites are 28 LP and Casbah. Of course, a part of my heart is forever ISM; another is forever Hiris. Sometimes Prada Iris Absolue is fun; I quite like Iris Pallida but it is perhaps not as amazing as it is expensive Of course, Al'Oondee isn't a soliflore, but is a lovely interpretation of iris. But I do like Iris Nobile, and don't own it! gasp! a v exciting draw.
ReplyDeleteI love the Hiris Hermes and Equistrius Parfum d`Empire. They make me lady.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the draw!
My first iris, and first iris love has got to be Silver Iris Mist, bought in Luten's beautiful shop in Paris. Wonderful afternoon - I sniffed and sampled, while my husband and brother-in-law sipped tea and watched, bemused.
ReplyDeleteI liked Prada Infusion d'Iris, and I also really loved Iris Nobile - it was just a little too pricey for me. Would love to win a bottle, obviously ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite iris is the one in Dior Homme. I have not explored the iris territory too much yet, but my wife would be ecstatic for the Iris Nobile. Thanks for the wonderful draw!
ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of iris but I can't deny its freshness it brings whenever I wear the scent. I guess Chanel No 19 is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteI love iris!
ReplyDeleteI rotate my collection.............at the moment I'm wearing Iris Silver Mist & V C & A Bois D'iris.
I wear the Chanel irises in the hotter, summer months.
Haven't tried the Iris Nobile so I would love to be included in the draw
cheers
Chanel No 19 Poudre is a keeper even though I have yet to purchase a full bottle of it. I have been living off the samples a friend was kind enough to gift me. The scent is very lady like to my nose and blends so nicely with my body chemistry. I am afraid that I don't have much experience with the Iris note other than the purple ones that bloom in my flowerbed every May. I really look forward to that every Spring.
ReplyDeleteIris scents feel very elegant to me. I love Iris Nobile. Thanks for the draw!
ReplyDeleteMost sublime iris: Iris Siver Mist
ReplyDeleteMost versatile iris: Infusion d'Iris EDP
Most elegant/refined iris: Heure Exquise
Best iris gourmand: Dior Homme Intense
Thats my vote(s)!
Iris Poudre, first.
ReplyDeleteHeure Exquise, second.
Hiris, third.
Lovely giveaway!
Karin
What a generous offer! And the video was astonishing - in this day and age when everything comes off an assembly it's amazing to see true a craftsman at work, know that each bottle is a unique work of art!
ReplyDeleteIn iris, I've always been partial to Chanel No. 19 (such a classic!), But Dahlia Noir has always settled into a nice iris for me, but in a very different way.
Again. thanks for this generosity. What a kind good heart!
I love "Peut-etre" by Lancome. There is iris in this perfume, isn´t it? :-)))
ReplyDeletei adore Apres L'Ondee (especially on a gloomy day like today) although, if i'm honest, i don't think of it as an 'iris' fragrance. i find Iris Taizo oddly comforting but my most often worn is an iris soliflore i found that is missing its label! i believe it is an italian company and it comes in a lovely cobalt blue bottle. anyone?
ReplyDeleteoh, and not that you asked but i abhor Chanel La Pausa...i've tried it a dozen times and it does not work with my chemistry at all. sigh.
not familiar with iris scents. would love to try this one.
ReplyDeleteA favorite iris! Thank you for the wonderful draw.
ReplyDeleteI love Parfum d'Empire Equestrious and really enjoy LeLabo Iris 39. Thank you for the wonderful draw!
ReplyDeleteOMG--You could just sell the empty bottle! Gorgeous, and the film showing the making of the bottles was very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love anything with oakmoss. I will have to seek this one out.
I love Iris Nobile. That's a gorgeous bottle.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite iris is Guerlain's Apres l'Ondee. Iris Nobile is way up there though. Love the iris note.

Hi!!
ReplyDeleteI still don't have any favourite iris fragrance...
I've enjoyed Lolita Lempika - Lolita Lempika some time ago.
May be this one becomes a "favourite"!
Thanks for the possibility.
Greetings from Argentina.
I like iris and love several. Iris poudre, prada infusion d'iris, and #19 top my list. Thanks fir the draw! --CM
ReplyDeleteOh, I love iris and my favorite is Iris Silver Mist
ReplyDeletethanks a lot for the draw
My vote goes to Hiris by Hermes so very feminin,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the draw.
Hmm it's hard to decide on a favorite. Iris isn't a note I love, but I really enjoy the fruity aspect of Iris Nobile and also enjoy Prada Infusion and Hermes Hiris.
ReplyDeleteHave not explored iris fragrances yet. I just know it is listed as a note in my beloved L'Eau d'Hiver!!
ReplyDeleteWould like the opportunity to try this, thank you for the draw.
I forgot to mention.. how hypnotic is that video? What beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteChanel 19 or Iris Nobile. Thanks for the draw.
ReplyDeleteChanel no. 19 holds many lovely memories for me. The video was a treat, and holding that bottle must be almost as delightful as wearing the scent.
ReplyDeleteI wore Chanel 19 in the late 70s, but didn't know enough to think of it as an iris scent, just "green and icy". I do really enjoy my sample of Dior Homme, I think that has iris in it. Beautiful video. Thanks for the draw.
ReplyDeletemy fav iris is 28 La Pausa because it is just so delicately beautitul! Thanks for the draw.
ReplyDeleteI love Chanel no 19. Iris gives a nice powdery scent, which is why I like it so :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love iris so much. It's my favorite perfume note. Chanel's 28 La Pausa is a favorite and Heeley's Iris de Nuit.
ReplyDeleteI really like iris. The best one is from Terry de Gunzburg Ombre Mercure EDP.
ReplyDeleteI love Shem El Nessim by Grossmith or SL Iris Silver Mist.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Iris Silver Mist, but I had a chance to smell vintage Iris Nobile and it was divine! Thanks for the draw!
ReplyDeleteHermes Hiris was my only scent for about 3-4 years, after it arrived in the US - I believe the year was 1999. It was available for sniffing at the Hermes boutique in NYC. I sniffed it and thought it was the weirdest perfume I'd ever smelled. Weeks later, on the subway, I smelled it "in my head"; i.e., it wasn't literal, I was just remembering the smell. I took it as a sign, returned to the store and purchased a bottle and wore it non-stop. It's not "sad", or "boring" for me - it's clean and unpretentious and authentic. It was ahead of its time. The recent Hermes Iris U. is quite green and friedly, and it's fun to wear on casual occasions. Hiris, on the other hand, is not as social and needy. It seems Hiris and I have quite a bit in common.... thanks for the opportunity to comment! Seattlelight
ReplyDeleteIris Silver Mist, without a doubt. I am also keen to try the legendary lost Molyneux No. 5, which I'm given to understand is an iris oriental.
ReplyDeleteI love Iris and mourn the loss of Guerlain's Iris Ganache. I hope that this would be a suitable replacement in my heart. I grow Iris every spring and look forward to them even more than the tulips. They are so finicky and unpredictable in their bloom, you never know if they are going to come through for you or not, but when they do, they are glorious!
ReplyDeleteThe iris dream - 28 La Pausa - an olfactory translucent impressionistic rendering of a Tuscany landscape with fields of pale blue irises. And somewhere there a young couple under the cypress trees on their wedding day enveloped in light laughter and even lighter veil swaying in the breeze among the rolling hills.
ReplyDeleteDo take two steps back and everything becomes just a transparent smudge of artist's brush strokes.
My favorite is Iris Silver Mist because I feel as stunning as I smell when I wear it. Looooove iris fumes.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Chanel no.19
ReplyDeleteI was astonished to realise that I did not know whether any of my collection was iris based. Upon research it appears only my classic Chanel No. 5 has iris in its heritage. Whether by design, dislike or chance I am not sure why this is.
ReplyDeleteNext opportunity I shall seek out the perfume counters on an iris focused olfactory adventure.
Thank you for always providing such stimulating and educational posts for your fragrance inclined readers.
I remember the first time I smelled Chanel 19- it belonged to an elegant, cool and sophisticated blond woman- I wanted to be just like her and the smell of the cool iris matched her perfectly. Since then I have had a love and sometimes hate for Iris perfumes. I would love to be entered in the draw. Thanks!!! Tatiana
ReplyDeleteI guess I have to join the ranks of those who like Prada Iris, its just so elegant!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI love Prada Infusion d'Iris. Thanks for the draw.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite iris perfume is Iris by L`Erbolario. I like it because the iris is very pronounced. It is strong, yet feminine. Notes include bergamot, aldehydes, iris, hawthorn tobacco, vanilla and sugar. It has great sillage and longevity.
ReplyDeleteI am interested in liking this one - I regularly wear & enjoy Prada's Infusion d'Iris, finding it floral without being overtly so, and elegant without glitz. Simple, sophisticated, and stylish.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Iris perfume is definitely Chanel No. 19 - smells like spring in a bottle and I love the elegance of iris. Thanks for organizing the draw and good luck to everyone who participated.
ReplyDeleteI haven't met an iris i have liked or rather liked me yet.Reading the comments above i'm thinking maybe i tryed the wrong ones.
ReplyDeleteI love Chanel no19, I only have a small decant at this time but it's on my list for one day. Thanks for the lovely draw.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite iris is Iris de Nuit by Heeley, I like the green streak and also how it has a warmth to it, as opposed to many ice cold iris fragrances.
ReplyDeletety for the draw, lovely bottle
For me it has to be Iris Silver Mist from Serge. Nothing quite like it really..
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice "lottery" :)
L'heure bleue by Guerlain. I love iris; it's a dreamy scent to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm still learning to love iris, but my favorite so far is Grossmith Shem-El-Nessim. thank you for the draw!
ReplyDeleteI love Iris in perfumes, tops are Chanel #19 and Hiris, I would love to try Iris Nobile. Thanks for the opportunity
ReplyDeleteI like Dior Homme. The iris, amber, and cocoa are so balanced, so smooth. I feel all is effortless when I wear this.
ReplyDeleteThe only iris fragrance I own is Infusion d'Homme. I love fragrances that play up the cool, dry aspect of the root. However, oddly enough, I like the sweet, violet-y feel of Dior Homme as well. There's something very posh feeling about it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the draw! Iris is one my favourite notes, so I was very excited to just sit down and think of the fragrance that makes the best of its powdery rooty-ness. I guess it's Chanel 28 La Pausa for me - partly because it was the first iris scent that I truly loved, and partly because it is just heartbreakingly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delectable video.
ReplyDeleteI love Iris Nobile - gave my bottle away as a gift to a friend, though.
I love iris in general.
One iris that is often overlooked but quite elegant is Iris Bleu Gris by MPG.
Please do include me in the draw. Maybe this time I am lucky.
Andrea
Elena, thank you for the generous draw. My fave is Iris Silver Mist. I love Maurice Roucel and how this one somehow keeps a green, earthy quality.
ReplyDeleteIris is a favorite note. Favorite perfumes are Chanel no 19, Iris Silver Mist and, sadly, Iris Ganache.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the draw!
Like mother like daughter? My mother's signature scent has always been Shalimar and I've thought it to be the iris note which instinctively attracted me to other perfumes, Chanel 19 being a personal favorite. Thanks for the great giveaway! Love your blog.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe that I have a favorite Iris fragrance. The closest would be Parfum d'Empire's Cuir Ottoman. Maybe Iris Nobile might take the top spot. Thanks for the lovely draw.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bottle <3 thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love iris and have iris soliflore perfumes from DSH, Keiko Mecheri, and MPG. Thanks for having this draw, though I may have missed it. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI adore iris -- it's my favorite note in perfumes. I have AdP Iris Nobile edp and love its lush, gorgeous swooniness. Other favorite irises include Chanel 28 La Pausa, AG Heure Exquise, PdN Odalisque, Prada Infusion d'Iris edp, Ferre, Van Cleef & Arpels Bois d'Iris, TDC Bois d'Iris, Hiris and No. 19 edp.
ReplyDeleteI liked Hermes Hiris when I tried it in a store before. Thanks for another great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm an Iris Poudre fan myself. Soft, clean powder. Love it.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite special iris is Iris Silver Mist, it is the rootiest iris I know =)
ReplyDeleteTough to choose just one favorite. Newest Iris scent, Penhaligon's Iris Prima. Other frequently worn iris scents, Chanel 28 La Pausa, Ann Gerard Cuir de Nacre, Serge Lutens Iris Silver Mist and Parfum d'Empire Equistrius.
ReplyDeleteHad a blast reading all your suggestions, thank you everyone for the iris mentions, lots to sample still for me it looks like!
ReplyDeleteThe winner is announced on the Home page. Thanks for participating!
What a wonderful draw! Thank you! Favorite iris scent - Chanel No 19.
ReplyDeleteSilver Mist is my favorite Iris fragrance but I would be thrilled to try this one!! Thank You for the chance :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know I was an iris fan, until I noticed in the comments that Chanel no.19 and Casbah are considered iris scents. I have a bottle of the former and am fiending for a bottle of the latter - and have been devouring pages on this website since I found it recently. Thanks for taking fragrance to the next level. xoMCS.
ReplyDeleteMCS,
ReplyDeletewelcome aboard!! Thanks for commenting.
And indeed No.19 is sunk in iris, so great taste on your part :-)
