I appreciate the project but, judging by this promo photo, the focus is on Mr. Burr's authority rather than on the as of yet anonymous fragrance. If, following the reveal, they replace the image of Mr. Burr and his signature with the author of the fragrance - say, a giant Daniela Andrier and her signature - I will believe this project is more about advancing perfume as aethetics and less about promoting a Chandler Burr brand. Here's to hoping.

I do believe this is an extension of a brand for mr.Burr indeed; never thought otherwise and I don't mean it in a demeaning way, because I do appreciate his concept and his scope.
He's essentially curating a line of frags to be presented as solely liquid art. Even the creator is beside the point, as only the scent is highlighted. Then again, someone has to do the actual choosing and highlighting the whys and the whos afterwards. I think he will emphasize the identity of the perfumer upon revealing.

Just read the about the reveal – it WAS Daniela Andrier! Infusion d’Iris to be exact. I actually don’t like IdI (the original EDP) so I’m glad I did not participate in the project. Sure his choice will stimulate a lot of conversations.
