Jean-Francois Laporte: RIP


The founder of L'Artisan Parfumeur, one of the pioneer niche perfumery brands, and later the founder of his own name brand (Jean Laporte Paris) and Maître Parfumeur et Gantier (in 1989), is no longer with us. A great perfumer, an iconoclast, a visionary. May his spirit continue to live on in both companies remaining.

    Apparently lots of people had diseases they didn't tell us about, judging by the latest crop of deaths I mentioned. It's understandable I guess and not everything needs to be broadcasted.
    It's a sad passing, as you say.

    Ah! Belated happy birthday!! Hope it has been a good one (IMHO any above the ground is a good one, LOL, so yes, I agree about your being blessed)

    I'm very well, quite busy but that's a good thing, thank you for asking; I'm celebrating a birthday myself. ;-)
