Chanel extraits now available online

Oh glorious day for our American readers! The renowned Chanel extraits (No.22, Bois des Iles, Cuir de Russie and Gardenia) are now available online for buyers in the USA.

The company offers complimentary shipping ONLY for April 29th until 11:59PM EST.
And they won't be the only ones, it seems!! (may our wishes for 31 Rue Cambon and Sycomore extrait be granted)

I will be having another post coming up shortly, I have been getting late on some projects and working on those. Stay tuned for your feedback is wanted!

Coromandel is credited to Jacques Polge? LOL.

I think I saw one of these on Serena's dressing table in last week's episode of Gossip Girl, so I figured that these were going to be made more available soon.

  2. Nikk,

    welcome to the shrine!

Well, I suppose technically Polges is the head perfumer, hence the reference. It's got Chris's fingerprint on it. But then again Polges also likes his orientals, as inferred by several interviews.

Interesting tidbit about Gossip Girl, thank you!! They're issuing extraits de parfum for the whole Les Exclusifs line at Chanel apparently.

  3. That's great news! I would love to have a bottle of the Cuir de Russie. I'm sure it smells better in the parfum form than the eau de toilette version. Well, I can't order it right now. My stupid cell phone decides to die (going to replace it tomorrow and I don't want to know what it is going to cost me) and I just got 2 new perfumes.

  4. The parfums are surpremely superior to the EDT. In fact, in what concerns BdI and CdR, I didn't even like the current modern versions, they're too watered down. I hung to my extrait for years now.

So sorry about your cell phone! Is it damage due to a fall/hit or did it act up out of the blue?
