The Russian market is a major force to contend with lately, although it has to do more with niche and luxury brands aimed at the affluent (which is its own bag of bones to contend with yet again), however the mainstream sector is not without its own merit. Goes to prove that in Russia most fragrances for men are purchased by women as birthday, Defender's day (a state holiday dedicated to men, male equivalent of March 8) and/or New Year gifts. I should add, mothers usually buy a gift set. Wonder if it is true for other countries, too...
