ReplyDeleteThe fragrance I specially keep as a charming memory is Calandre. I was perhaps 18 years old, and I used to put on in the afternoons while at my father's school. It was there, I don't know who had put it in the boxes room. It was small but not too small. And I asked who owned it. But I didn't get any answer. So I let it there but I would put on almost every afternoon. Yes, I can say this is one of Paco Rabanne's fragrances I can really relate to my emotions and memories: I can now see the pupils in my memory, the hurries, the cheering up, smiles...
I love drawings!
ReplyDeleteThanks to Paco Rabanne and Perfume Shrine :)
My favourite Paco Rabanne perfume is One Million for Men.
For me, Paco Rabanne brand represents futuristic luxury. Something like science-fiction glamour.
Thanks and Merry Christmas.
Pretty much the only Paco Rabanne I know and like is Calandre. But that I like a lot.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! My favorite is the Lady Million.
ReplyDeleteoh, Calandre, for sure. It's been a long time since I've smelled that! Haven't smelled any of the Millions.

Calandre sailed me through a difficult pregnancy. I remember having to put aside Shalimar, My Sin and Tasha(by Avon). All were suddenly too sweet and cloying.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't imagine going without wearing a fragrance....that wasn't my style. Fragrance was part of my daily ritual.
At about 4 months along, I 'found' Calandre on a magazine strip sitting in my OBGYN's office. I think the magazine was Glamour.
I then bought Calandre a few days later and it was, up to that point, my priciest fragrance puchase. I also adored the silver-toned top and rectangular-shaped glass that was so modern and chic! This fragrance chapter of my life occured during the spring and summer of 1982 (wow, really kicking it back in time!).

My first boyfriend wore Paco Rabanne PH. The smell of it transports me to those younger years, but my favorite Paco Rabanne is Metal. I have a bottle of it again, although I think it has been reformulated. It still smells great. Another favorite is Calandre. I always found PR fashion very unwearable, but it looked like fun!
ReplyDeleteI adore Calandre. I first found it on Portobello road on a second honeymoon. It's time to get reacquainted.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the entry.
I suppose it's because I know of Paco Rabanne because of his fashion legacy rather than his perfumes, but I've always been fascinated by how avant garde and truly cutting edge Rabanne's work was when he was at the peak of his influence. His use of such unconventional materials like aluminum and plastic to create clothing that was both of the time and lightyears ahead of it is quite amazing. I love the duality of hard and soft that his clothes so often explored, using metal woven like armor to create utterly sexy clothes that caressed the female form underneath. They hid nothing and protected everything.
ReplyDeleteI love Calandre. So nice and refreshing.
ReplyDeletePlease enter me into the Draw.
Unfortunately, I've never tried any Paco Rabanne fragrances, but would love to! Thanks for the draw! (I'm Karin from Maine...seeing as there are two Karins here!) :-)
ReplyDeletecalandre and metal have always been my favorites. please enter me in the draw
ReplyDeleteI love "Metal" on my husband and my favorite is "La Nuit". I have never tried any of the "Millions" yet...and would love to!

To me, Paco Rabanne represents glitzy luxury - it must be all the gold I see in their advertisements and perfume bottles :-)
ReplyDeletePlease enter me in the draw? Sadly I haven't yet tried any of the Paco Rabanne perfumes, but I really want to try Lady Million - hopefully I will soon (whether from the draw or finally getting a chance to smell a tester)! Thank you for hosting this draw, and the chance to win!!
Happy Holidays!!! :-D
I'm far more familiar with Paco Rabanne fashion than I am the perfumes, and for me it's sleek, futuristic couture. The only scent I've smelled is Lady Million, which I found feminine and pleasant, although more floral and sweet than I usually crave.
ReplyDeleteHiii!Feliz Natal e próspero Ano Novo! Beijocas de Elisabeth de Perfumes Bighouse
ReplyDeleteThat is so kind!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Helg!!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Helg. Wish you all the best!Peggy!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for hosting a giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThe first Paco Rabanne fragrance I tried was Black XS for her, and it is my favorite one as well. Love cacao in it!
Hmmm. Well, I don't have any Paco Rabanne fragrances, but my mom likes them, so if you're kind enough to enter me in the draw, and I happen to win, I'll send the perfume to her!
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays!
LOVE ,love ,love Calandre, elegant, femenine and chic .
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year !
