Chrstina Hendricks Loves Some Manly Smell!

In the new issue of Esquire magazine, in a column devoted to 'Mad Men' beauty Christina Hendricks, the real-woman's-body champion dares to tell men what she really thinks about them: 'We love your body. If we're in love with you, we love your body. Your potbelly, everything,' Hendricks writes in 'A Letter to Men.'
'Speaking of your body, you don't understand the power of your own smell. Any woman who is currently with a man is with him partly because she loves the way he smells.'
We're hanging from your every word, dear Christina...

She likes to play it naughty, you think? Or is she being sincere?

  2. I don't know if she's being sincere, but I agree with her completely on both counts.

  3. Me too. I've rarely even seen a photo of her without her "Joan" persona, but just the fact that she dared dream of Hollywood success without starving herself down to anorexia says a lot about her sincerity -- and bravery -- IMHO.

  4. Anon,

oh I think she's sincere. Why would she need to play naughty with a voluptuous physique like that?

  6. P,

astute observation regarding the persona integration into the person, and certainly being on US soil you have a much better grasp of that than me. It's very true what you say, not succumbing to the pressure of size O I think speaks volumes of her self-confidence, which is always an appealing trait. On women and men.

    Hugs!

  7. ...forgot to mention that I've yet to meet a male "Mad Men" viewer who doesn't think Joan is hot. Aa in never, ever.

    Hugs back!

  10. K,

she is a beauty, no doubt about it, almost Rennaissance-like.
Women can be forgiving when they love, can't they. Then again, so can (some) men.
