I ...Hmm, eights months later, but I can`t resist...
I adore this type of fragrance. Dense, resinous, with tons of dried plums. This smells to me exactly like my beloved Femme Rochas EdP (not EdT) + Coca Cola note (that is annoying me). It would be so perfect without that note (I blame it on pomegranate).
Still, I`ll probably buy it since it`s my cup of tea and story behind it is great. (and thanks!)
Cumin has a bad reputation: I don't really know why, I never get "sweat" from it. I love cumin. Well, when one "reads" it as a culinary note immediately, I don't think there's any danger of sweat entering the equation. It just adds to the dimensions of the fragrance.

[ps. I tried this recently and was instantly attracted as I found it a less dense/sticky scent than Arabie - a kind of diet Arabie which I have found in the past to be Christmas Pudding like in all ways. (I love christmas pudding btw but it is rich and heavy.)I am receptive to cumin (love the reorchestrated Femme with that beautiful plum note as well as cumin)and love Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3792393342962796253.post-30023302474097322122008-09-26T14:14:00.000+01:002008-09-26T14:14:00.000+01:00Love ya right back, sweetie!Love ya right back, sweetie!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3792393342962796253.post-91603113156847097862008-09-26T13:39:00.000+01:002008-09-26T13:39:00.000+01:00Jindra, baby-You always make me guffaw !LOVE you.....Jindra, baby-
You always make me guffaw !
LOVE you....chayaruchamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04889166567884475415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3792393342962796253.post-77522458985690566402008-09-26T13:03:00.000+01:002008-09-26T13:03:00.000+01:00Cumin? Which is quite intriguing if a tad sweet and certainly fits the image of an innocent and sweet-looking novice in the harem who's hard as nails underneath and destined to become Valide Sultan (and wear Shalimar) in time.
