Glass has a density of 2.5, means it's 2.5 times heavier than water. So if a bottle contains a thick glass bottom method 2 will never show the right amount.

The condensation method mentioned by johnl will work for completely opaque bottles.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16617896261574857540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3792393342962796253.post-13827742957461766342020-06-12T16:38:47.492+01:002020-06-12T16:38:47.492+01:00The water method didnt work for me. I like knowing the level, and if you buy something online that might be used then you can never tell how much is left. No one wants to be ripped off. I am trying this tonight. Put your bottle in the refrigerator for a while (or store them there!). After it is thoroughly chilled, bring the bottle to a place with a certain amount of humidity. After a few minutes, the top of the bottle will begin to warm up, but the liquid will remain cold. johnlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10603654881589921582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3792393342962796253.post-15092153597986836032011-01-20T22:19:56.737+00:002011-01-20T22:19:56.737+00:00I use method 3...a toothpick, lol!I use method 3...a toothpick, lol!stelmadesignshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07909207146304448538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3792393342962796253.post-90026273331540378112011-01-19T03:00:21.964+00:002011-01-19T03:00:21.964+00:00Oooo, but Helg - you smart perfumed one you ---- h...Oooo, but Helg - you smart perfumed one you ---- how do you get the last bit of scent out from a spray bottle!!! ????

Sometimes there is quite alot left and I try to tip that tiny tube in the puddle in the corner when you angle the bottle here and there hoping to get that last good spray of scent out and I press the top like mad!
